About Me

In a world were they want everyone in little boxes with neat little labels, I keep shapeshifting and embracing my eclectic ways! Some days I like short hair, some days I want to braid it. On a Monday I might begin a crochet project or a story idea and by Tuesday they are already abandoned.
But deep down, at my core I'm just a purple loving gremlin wanting her time in the sun just as much as anyone else deserves.

The Eccentric Eclectic behind the Words!

Hello world! I go by many names but here I’m Lily!
I'm an indie-author living in the middle of nowhere central France, I side hustle as a French tutor, and go through life as a confused, purple loving, queer bean.
I drink way too much tea and hot chocolate, write stories about imaginary friends falling in love, and plot increasingly unkind things to do to said characters — but I swear I love them dearly... Just, the more I love them the more they'll suffer!
As an indie MM romance author and unapologetic daydreamer, my love of storytelling began with dolls, video games, dress-up, and most of all, fanfiction, and has never really stopped. These days, that energy has evolved into original worlds, and emotionally charged stories that blur the line between comfort and heartbreak.
When not writing, I can usually be found reading fanfiction, playing Sims 4 or Minecraft, crocheting with an ever-growing yarn stash, or rewatching films and series. And I love driving mum nuts by listening to Wouldn’t You Like by Jorge Rivera-Herrans on repeat, among other songs. Though I may look soft and sweet from the outside, I proudly embrace my role as the quiet villain of my own story — gently nurturing my characters… right before putting them through hell!

What kind of stories do I write?

I write anything that gets my heart going. If I finish them is another matter entirely!
When I sit down at my keyboard or cuddle up with a pen and paper, I constantly steer towards mm romance, it's my happy place, but I have written an unpublished FF romance flash fiction before. I don't have a brilliant relationship with my designated female body, I think this is why I lean into my male imaginary friends. I sometimes wish I was them.
When I started writing, it was with fanfiction! Although, if you want to go way back, I actually started writing at eleven years old. From a young age I dreamed of being an author, but then I went to middle school, and from then until I quit school at sixteen, I got all my hopes and aspirations crushed along with my heart a couple of times. It wasn't until I was nineteen years old I found myself again. My friend, Wren, got me reading fanfictions of some minecrafters we loved to watch. I was hooked from then on. January of 2022 I quit my job as a teachers assistant and announced to the world I wanted to be a full-time writer. Years later and look at where we are now!
So my writing started out as Minecraft inspired, then Rise of the Guardians, Red White and Royal Blue, and finally, the best fandom in the world, the Merlin TV series. My writing has been influenced by all of these, mixing all my favourites but also adding things from my other passions. Mainly music. I can hear a single line of lyric and come up with a five book series (I will get round to writing it one day!)

What do I do when I’m not writing?

In other words, what do I do to distract me from my actual job! Well...
  • I always have something I'm currently read. Depends on my budgets at the time. When I can afford it, I'll be reading from KU on my phone from the Kindle app, trying to find as many mm mafia books as possible. Or I'll be looking for free books on Kindle also, there can be some really good ones and some... very interesting ones, especially in the omegaverse mpreg category—my absolute favourite romance genre! But when I want a break from that I turn back to fanfiction, mainly Merlin fanfics, my one true love! I also do audiobooks on occasion, but not as often due to budget. Audiobooks actually helped me find my passion for reading again after not picking up a book for years!
  • I also got into crocheting in the early part of 2025, I wanted something to do with my hands that wasn't playing on my phone while watching telly. So now I love making scarves with interesting patterns and then gifting them to friends! And, of course, I now have a yarn hoard... to go alongside my stationery hoard. On days where the suns and moons make my days sluggish, I love curling up in a blanket, with a cup of tea, and putting on a comfort tv show or film while I crochet.
  • When I'm not doing either of those, I'm playing or watching video games. Mainly Sims 4 and Minecraft, building little worlds to escape into. I like to find really long let's plays and watch them while playing Binairo+.

Where do I fall in LGBTQIA+ community?

I’m a confused and exploring bisexual and asexual—I'm still figuring myself out and have been since I came out in 2021, in the typical fashion, right after a breakup! But I'm very comfortable living under the queer umbrella, I have never felt so seen. I love rainbows, my favourite colours are the bisexual and asexual flags... And I have been the most authentic I have ever been, slowly getting more in tune with my desires and not feeling weirded out by them. Plus the community is absolutely amazing! I have been very fortunate to have everyone in my life accept me (except my estranged father) and go along with my craziness and lunatic ideas!
